Band Leadership

Director

Jeffrey Au received a Bachelor of Music degree from Ohio University in Theory and Composition and a Master of Music from the University of Notre Dame in Trumpet Performance and Literature. An active arranger and clinician, his arrangements have been performed by numerous college and high school bands and he has given brass and band clinics throughout the mid-Atlantic region. He served most recently at Towson University where he was Assistant Director of Bands and Director of the Marching Band, Pep Band, and Concert Band. Prior to his tenure at Towson, Mr. Au was Assistant Director of Bands and Trumpet Instructor at Elizabeth City State University where he also taught Theory, Orchestration, Music Technology, and methods classes. He was a contributor to Vincent Corozine's textbook Arranging Music for the Real World; Classical and Commercial Aspects.
