Hi y'all! My name is Emily, and I am a senior double majoring in English and computer science. This is my fourth year in DUMB, and my third year as a drum major (bonus points if you can guess which instrument I played)! My favorite memory of DUMB by far is traveling with our men's basketball team to cheer them on in the final four of March Madness! Around campus you can find me reading, in the gym, or taking a stroll!

Hello everyone! My name is Adonias, and I am a junior majoring in ECE & CS. This is my third year in DUMB. My favorite memory is winning the ACC Football Championship against Virginia in 2025! When I'm not at band, you can find me hanging out with friends, conducting research, or playing intramural sports! Looking forward to a great year!

What's up everyone! My name is Ian Opel and I am a junior majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Spanish. This is my second year in DUMB and sixth year marching. My favorite DUMB memory was beating Virginia at the ACC championship game and celebrating with my bandmates! Outside of band, you can find me in the gym, doing research, playing tennis, or playing basketball.

Hi everyone! My name is Louis, and I'm a senior majoring in neuroscience & biology with a minor in chemistry on the pre-med track. This is my third year in band, and my favorite memory from DUMB so far has to be playing for the homecoming UNC football game last year with our crazy comeback in the fourth quarter. When I'm not in band, you can find me at the gym, building legos, or playing clash of clans :)

Hi all! My name is Ellie and I’m a sophomore studying Economics and English. This is my sixth year marching and my favorite band memory is winning the ACC championships in Charlotte last year! I’m a flute to tuba convert, and you can catch me reading in the gardens, running the Al Buehler trail, or snacking at Pitch!

Hello! I’m Jazmine. I’m currently a senior majoring in Computer Science and Political Science, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. I’ve been part of the band since PBand in 2023. My favorite DUMB memory so far has been experiencing College GameDay at the 2023 Duke vs. Notre Dame game — even after the crushing loss. I'm always happy to chat about politics, history, and, of course, my cats!

Hi everyone! My name is McAllister Robinson, and I am a junior studying Biology and Marine Science. I am in my 8th year of marching band, and my 3rd year with D.U.M.B. I love being a mellophone and spending time making music with everyone in the band. My favorite band memory is spending last New Year's in El Paso, Texas, for the bowl game! Some things I like to do outside of band include birdwatching, playing horn in the wind symphony, and running. I can't wait for another full year of band!

My favorite memory from DUMB is beating Virginia in the ACC Championship last year, despite the cold! Hi y'all, my name is Steven, and I am pursuing a Chemistry major with a music minor. This is my third year in band, and my favorite moment so far has been the 20-point comeback versus UNC football. I spend lots of my free time playing and watching basketball. I also love blowing my food points on snacks. I'm always searching for the perfect study spot, which is sometimes easy and sometimes impossible.

My favorite band memories are the Sun Bowl in El Paso, March Mandess travel, and the ACC football championship. I didn't have any marching experience before joining DUMB. Outside of band, you can find me running/hiking, trying out new dessert spots, talking about transit, or listening to house music.

My name is Caleb Segovia and I’m a sophomore majoring in Math and Marine Science. This is my second year in DUMB and seconding year marching. My favorite band memory was traveling to Washington DC for March Madness Regionals. While I’m not marching, I’m either watching shows, singing in UP, or hanging out with friends!

Hello everyone! My name is Jad Traboulsi, and I am a sophomore majoring in civil engineering. This is my second year playing tenors in the drumline. My favorite band memory is getting to travel with the band for the first time and hang out with friends at the Women’s ACC Tournament in 2026. When I’m not in DUMB you can find me in the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, or working out in Wilson.

Hi! My name is Katie and I am a biology major in the pre health track! I've been marching for six years now and my favorite band memory is traveling to Atlanta for the women's ACC championship! Outside of band I love drawing, tennis, video games, and hanging out with my friends!

Hey I’m Claire, and I’m in the Class of 2029 majoring in BME one the pre-health track. I’m from Tennessee, but I also lived in Colorado in New York! I’ve played clarinet for 9 years and marched all throughout high school, and I have absolutely enjoyed being a part of DUMB! My favorite memory so far is spending the New Years in Texas for the Sun Bowl. I also love weightlifting, drawing, and making various cottage cheese recipes I find online.

This is my third year marching at Duke, and my seventh year in marching band. My favorite band memory has to be winning ACC champs last year! My favorite band memory is every SaxBox because the Sax section is simply the best. Beyond that, I relish performing with the Wind Symphony and love to watch movies with friends.

My name is Paul Hletko and I'm a senior from Evanston, Illinois. I've been playing the trumpet since 2013 and I could not be happier with the places it's taken me. My favorite part of being in the Duke band is traveling across the country with some of my best friends. I've been to NYC, Dallas, Charlotte, D.C, Greenville SC, and more in my four years. Outside of band, I study Math and Computer Science and work as a TA for the CS department, am a member of DUU exec, and put on events with Jazz @ Duke.

My name is Raymond Rosa, I am a sophomore who studies Math and Physics. One of my favorite band memories is when I went to the Women’s Basketball ACC Tournament, it was one of my first experiences traveling with the band. I love to draw and solve puzzles!

Hello y'all my name is Shenard Williams. I am a sophomore from Fort Myers, FL studying Civil Engineering and minoring in History. I've been marching since my freshman year of high school, and I have loved continuing my journey in the marching arts with DUMB. One of my favorite band memories from last year has to be travelling (and WINNING) the ACC Football Championship in Charlotte. Outside of DUMB, I love to read, play pickleball, debate, watch baseball (and college football), as well as play a variety of card games. I'm always excited for any and everything Duke related; I look forward to the future DUMB and the DUMBones section has to behold.

My favorite DUMB memory is traveling to San Antonio for the Men’s Basketball Final Four. Outside of band, you can find me playing ice hockey, pickleball, or building models!

Hello!! My name is Shriya, and I'm a senior double majoring in biomedical engineering and computer science. I've been in band for three years now, and I've loved every bit of it. From chanting at basketball games to dancing at football games to even just hanging out at binner ("band dinner" for the non-whimsical), DUMB is one of my favorite communities on campus. Outside of band, I spend my time researching biological systems, writing stories, or drawing art for my friends!!

Hi everyone, My name is Matthew. I am a junior majoring in Civil Engineering and I play the sousaphone. This is my third year in DUMB. My favorite band memory is playing at the ACC football championship in Charlotte last year! Outside of band you can find me working on the Duke concrete canoe, at the gym, or watching sports.
